The visit was designed as an educational and sensitization experience, aimed at nurturing empathy, awareness, and inclusivity among young minds. During the interactive session, our team introduced the students to the different categories of disabilities, with a focus on intellectual and developmental challenges.
Through engaging discussions and real-life examples, we helped the students understand the unique abilities and needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities. The session highlighted the importance of treating every individual with dignity and respect, regardless of their challenges, and encouraged the students to foster inclusion by involving such individuals in everyday social events and community life.
This visit not only helped dispel common misconceptions around disabilities but also inspired many students to become advocates for inclusion in their schools and neighborhoods.
